Calling all lit lovers
Celebrate 15 years of Chicago’s hippest literary festival.

Mark your calendars for Story Week Festival of Writers: Class Acts, from March 13–18. Presented by the Columbia College Chicago Fiction Writing Department, Story Week celebrates its 15th anniversary with a feast of readings, conversations with authors, panels and performances that are free and open to the public. Held on campus, at the Harold Washington Library and scattered venues on the North Side, Story Week is one of the most highly anticipated literary events in the Midwest. This year’s theme explores how class issues manifest themselves in creative works. Local writer Gina Frangello touches on the power dynamics of gender, class and sexuality in her vibrant short stories. She reads March 16 at Literary Rock and Roll at Metro (3730 N Clark St).
One lucky grand-prize winner will receive:
•Lunch with author Gina Frangello and an autographed copy of her book Slut Lullabies
