On the go

Lay off it
You probably don’t feel like taking that vacay if you’re worried about getting the ax at work. Fortunately, JetBlue feels your pain. Thanks to its new Promise Program, if you book a flight between now and June 1 and subsequently lose your full-time job, you’re eligible to receive a full refund. Just submit a notarized eligibility letter to the company via fax and certified snail mail at least 14 days prior to your departure date.
Free airbooze
It’s no surprise that Southwest, known for its cheeky sense of humor, would want to celebrate St. Paddy’s in style. Legal-age passengers who fly the airline on March 17 (St. Patrick’s Day) will enjoy a free beer during their flight. The company also offered gratis vodka cranberry cocktails on Valentine’s Day. Now, if only the flight attendants would pass around baskets of soda bread to soak up the booze, we’d be set.
Miles to go before I fly
Thought you were losing valuable frequent-flier miles after Delta recently acquired Northwest Airlines? Think again. Now you can collect your miles from both airlines into one big pool. Get the ball rolling by linking your Delta SkyMiles and Northwest WorldPerks accounts online at nwa.com/worldperks/acctlink before March 15 and receive 500 bonus SkyMiles. Gather both account numbers and PINs beforehand to speed up the process.
